Who needs walls when you can have mountains
Beat that Ballistae! Like to you see you knock those walls down

Aldbel is a special city because the Meteor that fell has anti-magic properties,
and dispels magic on a huge 300 mile radius, making it a giant anti-magic ward and stronghold,
as well as home to the Mage Prisons.
